Register as a Producer

For anyone making or using biochar in New Zealand, from a backyard kiln to an industrial plant. Registering lets you record each batch you make and where you apply it. Batches made under a production profile that BNNZ has verified (with a lab certificate) earn higher carbon estimates than other batches.

At least 12 characters, using at least 3 of: uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, symbols. A browser or password manager's suggested password will normally already qualify.

Confirm password Production site location — search for an address, or click the map

This location appears on the public map as your pin, together with your name and anything you add to your profile. If you would rather not show a home address, pick a nearby point instead, such as the closest road junction or township. You can change it later in your profile.

Register

A BNNZ admin reviews every new registration. Until yours is approved you can log in and fill in your profile, but you cannot record batches or applications yet. You will get an email when it is approved.
